GREAT PLACE TO HANGOUT OR STROLL AROUND !!!

This is my first time to roam around Capital Commons. This place is a new high-end entertainment hub east of the Ortigas Center.

It's a cool place in Pasig where you can hang out with your family & friends. I absolutely loved the place. It's well planned with new high rise condo's, a mall, and other wonderful shopping and restaurant areas

The mall at Capitol Commons is called Estancia.  There are mid to high end shops & restaurants at the lower ground floor.

There are still some buildings in Capital Commons that are still under construction and I guess this area will soon be packed with residential areas, business zones that are all compactly situated to create the country's newest business and leisure destination.

There's also a park inside which is perfect for walking, running and even photography. It's a nice place to relax, eat and have a few drinks.

To conclude, Capitol Commons is perfect for walking, running and even photography. A great place to get a bite to eat and bonding place. There are also some stores to shop. It's a nice place to relax, eat and have a few drinks. This is a beautiful place & we will definitely be back!

Starbucks is the first store you'll see when you enter
Capitol Commons when you came from Shaw Blvd.

A Night at XO 46 Heritage Bistro, Estancia, Capitol Commons

That night was our year-end bonding with my friends. We're supposed to eat at Sentro 1771 but since they're fully booked & since Mary Grace doesn't serve rice, we ended up eating at XO 46 Heritage Bistro.

Xo 46 Heritage Bistro's dishes that was served to us are too salty for our taste buds & wonder if it's really that necessary.

We ordered the following:

*Chicken Galantina : Our first impression based from the presentation is delicious but when we tasted it, it salty... We also wonder why there a fish bone in our Chicken Galantina? well, We didn't bother to ask and maybe it's part of the ingredients?

*Morcon de Queso de Bola : Another salty dish and the taste is nothing special... The saltiness of the flavor empowered the taste.

*Tinapa Rice : The taste is okay but not good enough.. The tinapa are not boneless so we have to be careful while eating it.

*Binawang na Sotanghon at Manok: There's also nothing special with this dish. Too much oil.

*Laing: The taste could'e been better if we can see the coconut milk na naglalatik. Taste's not bad but not that good.

* Gambas Al Ajillo : This is the only dish that really surprised us because it's really delicious. The only best we've had. This dish alone is 4 for me but the rest ruined our dining experience so my overall rating ended up at 2 out of 5.

To sum up, the food's taste was okay but we're not really satisfied ... We didn't bother to try their desserts coz' what we want is just to pay and leave. It's just so bad coz' we're eating outside and behind us are their "Framed awards/achievements" that made us wonder.

By the way, Thanks to our server "Beth" & i'm sorry if I burst out laughing by the way they presented the dishes. (na nosebleed ako sa sobrang lalim ng tagalog)... 😅😅😅 for me it's the service that stands out rather than the taste of food.. Thanks for all of the complimentary snacks that was given to us  (Chichacorn, Puto and Choconut). There's are still lots of dishes to try but we're definitely not coming back.
